Optical digitizer for shoe lasts compatible with NL-DGS8MP
The NL-DGS8MP is now available with the NL-DGS8MP.RvsFull option, which upgrades previous NL-DIGISCAN.SL/F versions to new 3D standards and 8.5 MPX sensors, leveraging automated last handling. The original tripod and rotary table configuration is maintained to ensure operational continuity and mobility flexibility.
The redesigned software offers three scanning modes:
- AUTOLAST: Completely automated process to scan the shoe-last through only two positionings on the rotary table.
- AUTOLAST EDIT MODE: Allows for editing the automatic scan (e.g., reflection removal, hole filling, smoothing).
- EXPERT MODE: Offers full control over all features, enabling the scanning of other objects as well.
The Setupmodel Module and Comparison Module are included with the NL-DGS8MP and are digital tools integrated into the SLIM 4.0 software platform. They optimize last preparation and analysis:
- Setupmodel Module: Enables virtual placement of the reference points (toe/heel for roughing or instep for NL-SDF systems) on the last for correct machine clamping. The output is an .FRV™ file ready for immediate use in the Newlast production cycle.
- Comparison Module: This modular component serves as a digital tool for comparing and measuring geometries between one or more previously digitized lasts. It automatically generates a comparison report.
